From his college years spent working as a cabana boy at a 5-star resort in Laguna Beach, founder Danny realized how difficult it was to find quality beach towels. The options were limited to either hotel standards at a premium price or paper-thin towels that shed. The Laguna Beach Textile Company was then started to combine resort quality and classic California beach style. The brand also donates a portion of profits to the Rainforest Trust and the Pacific Marine Mammal Center, and excess or returned products to local Southern California animal shelters.
