My youngest hit 13 and it was time for him to have a full size bed. He was dangling everything off the sides due to growth spurt. He helped me put it together. Took us 2 hours. I blame the fact were just getting over covid and we were a tab bit dramatic with our breaks we had to take. It's taller then I expected. I am 5 fr 5 and its pretty close to my height! But he will be able to sit with a padded back rest to look out his window and keep an eye on his chickens. Not sure how long the color will last I will probably put scotch guard on he isn't my cleanest child. He has a new 10 inch mattress on this and you can see from the pics he could go to a 12 inch easily.
