The base and legs are sturdy the casters are a nice strong quality and the roll with ease even on carpet. I will be getting a chair pad though to protect the carpet. The comfort of the chair is real nice. It a very soft leather in a rich Taupe color, matching everything. The seat is soft and very comfortable, and a nice full size chair for extra comfort.
