It took two tries to figure out how much of the shampoo & conditioner to use when I received the travel duo pack as a trial set. But since then, my hair has felt softer, smoother, fuller, and just overall in better condition. I’ve just received my new order of the standard-sized tins of both products!
Understanding that hair products work differently for a lot of reasons, I don't love this product. I wanted to like it. I wanted to replace my giant plastic bottles. Not going to happen for this brand. The shampoo is okay once you get the hang of it and the herbal scent is lovely. The conditioner, oh lordy. Nope. No. Unh uh. In fairness, my hair is like a sponge. It needs a metric ton of moisture. It's a rare product that leaves my hair greasy. Let's forget it smells like dusty, old toothpaste (or Barkeeper's Friend) no matter how I used it, it left my scalp and hair DRY, DRY, DRY. Stripped like clarifying shampoo dry. I purchased the 10 wash minis and gave it five tries. I'm out of the conditioner, so the 1-inch metric is out the window and it simply isn't the product for my densely, fine, curly hair. Obviously, a lot of folks love it and it works for them. I simply didn't see any MEH reviews. And for me, this is a solid MEH.
