Too long between shoulders and busy

I wanted to love this dress. Very cute, lightweight full coverage. Unfortunately the shoulder to bust measurement was too long for me and I couldn't make it work. I returned it with no issues.

I like this dress but am considering returning. The space between the shoulder and bust is too long making it tight under the armpit. I want to take to my seamtress to see if she can fix it but it doesn't look like there is enough seam to deal with. It's probably going back.
