- nearly indistinguishable from their non scented products - poor packaging - poor design. if you want to know more... I was very excited to buy this for my girlfriend who said she always wanted this but could never afford it. We agreed we'd savor it and only use it on our bedding every few weeks. After washing our bed sheets with it there was a subtle smell that is different than the laundress regular wash, but nothing special. We tried again thinking we didn't use enough and then tried again, but no different. I couldn't recommend this less. If you love this scent from la labo buy the perfume or a candle from them, both are excellent, it will cost a bit more but last many times longer and you'll get that scent on you or filling your room in seconds. Additionally, my girlfriend who had gotten some laundress in the past as a gift said, just wait, the packaging is like opening a present its so nice. Unfortunately, i found the packaging from the laundress to be very very poor for such a "high end" brand. All my bottles were strewn about randomly in the box facing every which way and many were wrapped together in clear packaging tape and after cutting and removing the tape, now they all have residue on them and are all sticky to the touch, so annoying. And the bottles, they're the WORST. I can't think of another liquid detergent brand out there hasn't figured out how to make a bottle whose cap (which is used to measure out the liquid) drains cleanly back into the bottle, you can NOT use the cap to measure out the amount of detergent needed despite the instructions saying use two caps fulls, because the cap is narrow and ribbed with the screw threads, much of the liquid stays in the cap and if you don't spend 5 min cleaning it out or maybe even if you do. bc its very hard to clean unless you have a sink on hand, which many don't, when that cap goes back on it will spill all down the sides of your bottle and then the most expensive detergent you've ever bought in your whole life will look like an absolute mess. i want to like this brand so much, i love brands with a strong environmental focus but every time i use their product i'm just frustrated.
