Inner Lip on Case Ruins Brushes

Did anyone bother to try these before mass-producing them? The case IS a problem (as noted by a prior reviewer)…the lip on the inside catches the brush bristles. You have to shake all the brushes out, there's no other way to get to them, and the hairs catch as they leave. If you put them in end-down, the hairs get bent from gravity, not to mention it's impossible to get a brush head into a small hole without a compressing sleeve. Awful design. Would return to Anthropologie if I didn't love the brushes themselves.
