I stopped conventional mascaras after a really bad allergic reaction awhile back, and I've read lots of buzz about this one so I was excited to finally try it out. You def have to scrape off some of the product from the wand and it is a heavy formula which is why I gave it 4 stars. It builds really well for a dramatic look which I haven't been able to find yet, but I end up having to use a curler after (*gasp* I know you're not "supposed" to) otherwise my lashes don't hold the curl. It flakes a little after I re-curl them but I can quickly wipe it off and it doesn't flake or smudge after. All in all, still a good mascara I just wish I didn't have to re-curl them again after.
