So the butterfly wings remind us of abused children who are as delicate as butterfly wings and are easily broken, hence the sterling silver wire wrap which symbolizes also a broken heart through the pain endured. My sturdy handmade necklace is sculpted into butterfly wings or hearts out of health-friendly copper wire and antiqued to reveal the hammered surface. The pendant hangs from a sterling silver cable chain. A sparkly 6mm blue black sandstone bead charm symbolizes the child and the awareness color.
